How's this for an afternoon activity? This is taken from Crissy Field in the Marina/Presidio area of San Francisco. On a warm, sunny day, there are dozens of kite surfers here. Its really fun to watch and see them take off from the shore and navigate through the bay.
I bet that's cold water. I love to think I could do this but knowing very well I couldn't.
